Hello friends! This is Crystal here with you today. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready for a new year to begin. I think we could all use a fresh new start! Today I am sharing a fun slimline card featuring a variety of the Lawn Fawn products we all love. I figured that with winter upon us (at least here in New England anyway), 'tis the season for colds, flu and need I speak of the more obvious, COVID? So, having a good supply of get well soon cards on hand is probably a good idea during this time of year.
Card details:
Slimline cards are designed to fit inside a regular #10 business sized envelope and require no additional postage. The base of this slimline card (8 1/2" x 3 1/2") was made from Neenah Solar White Smooth cardstock. I created the background by cutting a piece of purple Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes cardstock. I die cut the Lawn Fawn Mushroom House from white cardstock, Cajun Craze and Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I assembled the mushroom house and adhered it to the center of the card. I cut some of the grassy border using the Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes cardstock and the Grass Border Honey Cuts by Honey Bee Stamps.
I stamped all of the images (the gnomes, mushrooms and flowers) from the Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome stamp set on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die cut the same images using the Lawn Fawn Oh Gnome Lawn Cuts. I colored the images with Copic alcohol ink markers and added highlights to each image using a white gelly roll pen. I adhered all the images to the card using 3M foam adhesive for added height. Lastly, I added a coat of clear Wink of Stella to all the images for sparkle.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card! Thanks for visiting and remember to shop local (or shop small, if you are not local) at Vanessa's awesome store!
Happy crafting!
Crystal
