Hey crafty friends!
It’s Julia here with magical (and frosty!) scene card! I hope you are not sick of wintery cards yet! I realized that I have barely used the adorable Frosty Fairy Friends from Lawn Fawn, so I thought it was finally time to do so!
First I stamped my images onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored them in using Copic Markers.
Then I die cut the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies three times out of white cardstock and layered them for extra dimension. I also die cut grassy borders and birch trees. The dies I used are currently out of stock, but the ones from Sunny Studio Stamps or Lawn Fawn or would work perfectly as well! I added a few stripes with my markers onto the trees to add a little more interest. After that, I ink blended Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide onto a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock for a vibrant, magical winter sky. I also added lots of splatters of Liquid Stardust for more shine. Then, I added a tiny bit of Peacock Feathers Oxide on the very tips of the grass borders and sprayed them with shimmer spray for an icy look.
I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Clair ink. Then, I adhered the trees and then the grassy borders to the background. After that, I added my images with liquid glue and foam squares. Finally, I used white paint to add snowy accents on my tree house and to add even more sparkle I added Crystal Glaze, lots of shimmer pen and Stickles!
