Hi crafty friends! Beata June here popping by to share this card with all the hearts 💜💛💖 using Mama Elephant stamps.
I used the following Mama Elephant stamp sets to make this card:
- Lil Toy Machine (coordinating die available here)
- Up With Love (coordinating die available here)
- Boba Tea
To start things off, I stamped out the toy machine from the new Mama Elephant Lil Toy Machine stamp set, colored it with copic markers and cut it out. This little toy machine is the cutest and I have so many ideas on all the stuff I can fill it up with! For this card, I decided to fill up my toy machine with hearts to send as a Valentine's Day card 💜💛💖 so I stamped hearts from the Lil Toy Machine stamp set and the Boba Tea stamp set, colored them with copics, and cut them out. You may know that I love all the critters 😍 and I wanted to add some friends for the little guy on top of my toy machine so I stamped the adorable ducky and bunny with heart balloons from the Up With Love stamp set, colored them with copics, and cut them out.
For my background, I wanted to match the color of my little hearts inside the toy machine so I blended shaded lilac, spun sugar, and squeezed lemonade distress oxide inks using my Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes on my white card base, and then splattered it with water and various pink colored paint. Then I glued the little hearts to the inside of my toy machine, and then glued my toy machine and heart balloon holding critters onto my blended card base.
Next, I stamped the "Sending You All the Hearts" sentiment from the Up With Love stamp set onto a piece of white card stock, added a purple heart I colored with copics from the Boba Tea stamp set, cut out the sentiment strip and glued it to the bottom of my card.
Lastly, I added white highlights to my colored images with a Sakura white glaze jelly roll pen.
Here's my finished card:
I love this little toy machine filled with all the hearts! 💜💛💖💜💛💖 And I'm super excited about all the other cute stuff I can fill this little toy machine with.
Thanks for reading along today. I'll be back again next week to share more crafty fun ideas!
Crafty hugs,
