Hello crafty friends! Davina here, with fun farm filled slimline card. I used primarily Avery Elle stamps and dies for this project along with the bright spring colors of the March Bri Moodboard. This months Moodboard colors are sweet baby pink, sunshine yellow, spring green, and a clover green. The results we have seen so far have been wonderful.
To make this card I started by cutting my slimline layers using the Mama Elephant slim card basics. I cut the scalloped base from heavy white cardstock, and the stitched frame from Bristol Smooth. I cut a second stitched frame using some scrap green cardstock to make my grassy hills. I inkblended the white panel with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide (DO) from the top, and gently blended in some fabulous Kitsch Flamingo DO a few inches from the bottom. It made a gorgeous sky combination. I cut a hill and a grassy layer from the green card making sure it extended to the pink sky area, and inked the edges of the grass with Lucky Clover DO.
Next, I stamped the fun hot air balloon from the Avery Elle Peek A Boo Balloon stamp set, and some adorable farm animals from the Peek A Boo Pets set. I also stamped the smiling sunshine from the new Avery Elle Sunshine stamp using the Squeezed Lemonade DO. I copic colored everything using colors from the Moodboard, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Along with some cute pierced clouds from the Cloud Mat Elements cover plate for my sky, I began to put my scene together.
I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment across the grassy green paper using separate sentiments from 2 Lawn Fawn sets (All the Clouds, and Hay There), I adhered my grass to the bottom of my panel making sure to pop up the grassy piece with fun foam. After putting the sun in the upper corner I scattered my clouds evenly throughout the sky before placing the balloon over top. I tucked a little sheep into the ballon, and a small word bubble from the same Lawn Fawn Hay There stamp set. Behind my popped up grassy hill I tucked in the rest of my farm friends and their little feet on top. The Avery Elle Peek A Boo sets are easily my favorite critters and one day I will use them all and not just collect them.
To finish off my cute card, I added a few little wonky stars from the Peek A Boo Balloon set, and adhered my image panel to the scallop layer, then onto my cardbase.
