Hello crafty friends! Beata June here, and I'm back on the blog today sharing this vertical slimline rainbow card. 🌈 🌈
I used the new Mama Elephant Little Signage Agenda stamp set (coordinating die available here) to stamp out the cute critters holding the letters, colored them with copic markers. I stamped on the letters from the Little Signage Agenda stamp set onto my colored critters to spell out the "YIPPEE!" and added white highlights using a white glaze jelly roll pen, then cut out the critters.
To make my background, I cut a rectangle card panel from white cardstock using the smallest rectangle die from the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles dies set. I blended a rainbow of clouds on the rectangle card panel using a My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil and Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes with the following distress oxide ink pads: squeezed lemonade, shaded lilac, worn lipstick, cracked pistachio, and tumbled glass.
Then I glued the colored critters holding the letter signs onto my rainbow cloud panel using a Lawn Fawn glue tube. I adhered the rainbow cloud panel onto a piece of black cardstock using double sided tape, and then trimmed it to leave a 1/8" black border around the rainbow cloud panel.
Next, I cut out two diagonal stitched rectangles from white card stock using the Pinkfresh Studio Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangles dies set. I used double sided tape to adhere the card panel onto the smaller stitched rectangle panel, then adhered that to a piece of blue speckled cardstock, then adhered that to a piece of black cardstock and trimmed it to leave another 1/8" black border, then mounted that onto the largest stitched rectangle panel. Then I mounted the finished card panels onto my slimline card base.
I'm sending this card to my niece who loves animals to congratulate her for getting a big role in her school play she just auditioned for. 💖 💖
I hope you like this rainbow card. 🌈🌈 I love these cute Mama Elephant Little Signage agenda critters!
Crafty hugs,
Beata June 💚
