Hey crafty friends!
It's Julia here - long time no see! I am super happy to be back on the blog with this fun snow globe mini shaker card duo!
First I stamped my images from Lawn Fawn's Ready Set Snow, Super Star, Mice on Ice, Dandy Day and Baaah Humbug onto Transotype Perfect Coloring paper and colored them in using Copic Markers.
To create my little shakers I used the Ready Set Snow Shaker Add-On. I stamped the snow globe from the stamp set and die cut it with the frame die and again from fun foam. I die cut the snowy background and the hill from white cardstock and ink blended the background with Villainous Potion and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide ink.
Then I used a card base and lined the outside shape die up with the top edge making sure to leave a little gap between the cutting edge at the top. That way I ended up with perfectly shaped card bases for my snow globes! Then it was already time to assemble!
I added a piece of acetate behind the window and the fun foam on top of the acetate. I adhered the hill and then added some fun shaker elements. After that, I glued the snowy background to the card base and finally adhered the card base to the shaker.
All that was left to do now is add my sweet little mice and the greeting! I really hope you enjoy this one! Thank you so much for spending time with me today and I hope you have an amazing holiday season!
Julia
