Hi there! I'm back on the blog with a happy birthday card. These bears are having a birthday party with donuts, ice cream and other sweet treats. All you need on a party right? Let me show you how I made this card.
Then I adhered all the images together and I thought it would be fun to have the big bear holding a the big donut. Next I made the background and I used the perfectly plaid cardstock from lawn fawn. I love making cute backgrounds with distress oxide, but sometimes when I'm a bit lazy and don't want to get dirty hands I just use cute cardstock (and I'm a cute cardstock hoarder so need to use it sometimes). I choose to make a slimline card so there is plenty of room for my bears. I used the slim card basics from mama elephant but every slimline die you want would work.
Next I die cut a cute background from some spiffy speckles cardstock with the scalloped part from the scalloped slimline die from lawn fawn. Last but not least I stamped a sentiment from the big scripty words in lawn fawn ballet slippers ink. I adhered everything together with glue tube and foam squares and that was it for this card.
I hope you like my happy birthday card and see you next week with another card.
Lots of love,
Annemarijn
