Hello again! Today I wanted to share an all die cut card with you. And I didn't attach it to a card base, but made sure the back was a mirror image of the front. That way it really looks like the dog is peeking through the circle with his boba tea.
I used book
buddy bear and dog on some paper
bag cardstock. I used black
licorice cardstock for the eyes and snout. To create the background I used
some white
cardstock and the cloud
nine die. I used a circle from stacked
circles to cut a hole in the top of the card panel. Once I had two identical
panels I inked them up with some salvaged
patina and shaded
lilac. I used liquid
stardust mixed with water to create some fun shimmery splatters on the ink.
I left those two panels to dry, and once they were I glued them together.
Now the boba
shaker combo was a little trickier to make. I used pearlescent
vellum for the front and back of the cup, acetate
for the window and lid, white
cardstock for the whipped cream, ballet
slipper cardstock behind the cup and some striped pattern paper for the
straw. I had to be careful where to put liquid glue, so it didn’t show too much
from behind all of that vellum and acetate. To get some height into the cup I used
foam
strips and then I added clay
confetti. Once the shaker was closed I glued it under one of the paws of
the dog, so it looks like he’s holding it. I added one glue
dot under his paw.
On the eyes and snout I of the dog used a white
gelly roll pen and once it dried I put some glossy
accents on top.
For the sentiment I used let’s
chat on some ballet
slipper cardstock. Then I used black
licorice ink to stamp hi from little
agenda spaceship. I added it to the top right corner.
And now the card is finished! I hope you like my card. If
you're interested in seeing how I made this, there will be a YouTube tutorial
soon. Have an amazing week!
Hugs,
Leontine
