Hi crafty friends! Beata June here! I'm so excited to be back on the blog today sharing this "Happy" Lawn Fawn slimline card.
Here are the supplies I used for this card:
Lawn Fawn Bubbles of Joy stamp set (coordinating die available here)
Lawn Fawn Scripty Bubble Sentiments stamp set (coordinating die available here)
Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters stamp set (coordinating die available here)
Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie stamp set
First, I stamped out the tiny critters from the Lawn Fawn Coaster Critters stamp set and the large elephant from the Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie stamp set, cut them out and colored them with copics. (The new flip flop version of this elephant stamp is available here.) I wanted each of the critters to hold a different colored balloon with all the colors of the rainbow so I stamped out 7 balloons from the Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie stamp set, cut them out and colored them in rainbow colors with copic markers.
Next, I stamped the "happy" sentiment and bubbles from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Bubble Sentiments stamp set, cut them out and colored them to match my rainbow colored balloons. Then I stamped and cut out the baby mouse from the Lawn Fawn Bubbles of Joy stamp set and two bubble wands from the Lawn Fawn Scripty Bubble Sentiments stamp set, and colored them with copics.
To make my background, I blended Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink onto my small slimline panel for the sky. I cut out the grass from white cardstock using the long grass die from the My Favorite Things Pop-Up Wiper Card Components Die-namics set, blended the grass with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink and the top edge of the grass with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink, glued the grass to my blended sky background panel, and splattered everything with water and paint. Then I glued my colored images onto the card panel with a Lawn Fawn glue tube.
I cut out three larger slimline panels from blue, purple and white cardstock to pull together all the colors from my colored images, and glued the panels together with my Lawn Fawn glue tube. Then I glued the top card panel with my critters onto the rest of my mounted slimline panels.
To finish my card, I added white highlights to my colored images using a Sakura white glaze jelly roll pen.
Here is another look at my finished "Happy" slimline card:
Thanks for following along to learn how I made this happy slimline card! Wishing you all lots of happy!
Crafty hugs,
Beata June 💚
