Hi everyone! I'm back with another card for you all. This time I picked my favorite theme within my Lawn Fawn stamps; ocean!
When I was flipping through my stash I saw the little jar from Bugs and Kisses. And then I thought how cool it would be if the octopus from Ocean Shell-fie was holding it with something inside of it.
Another flip through my stash and it was clear; the little ship from Ahoy, Matey was perfect!
With very little masking it's super easy to stamp the ship so that it seems to be inside of the jar. When adding highlights after I colored the images in with Copic markers, I made sure to but a few lines next to each other over the images of the ship to make it seem even more as if the ship is inside of the bottle.
I made a simple background by cutting a stitched rectangle with the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and blend it with a simple gradient. I used Distress Oxide in the colors Mermaid Lagoon and Salvaged Patina. After I was done making my scene, I only stamped on some bubbles with white ink.
The ocean floor was cut out of a stitched rectangle with the Stitched Hillside Borders. I ink blended it with Distress Oxide in the colors Antique Linen and Vintage Photo and I added splatters with thinned down Ground Espresso.
I decorated the scene with a bunch of stamp sets, next to the sets I already mentioned. Here is a list;
I hope I could inspire you to get crafty yourself and I hope you have a great rest of the week.
