Hi friends! It's Beata June here, and I'm so excited to be back on the blog today sharing this warm fall card featuring Avery Elle stamps.
To make this card, I stamped out the cute critters, leaves, mushrooms, apples and basket from the Avery Elle Fall Picnic stamp set (coordinating die available here), cut them out, and colored them with copic markers. I colored the images up with warm fall colors in mind so I chose to use mostly orange and red copic markers.
Then I stamped out the large pumpkin from the Avery Elle Boo to You stamp set (coordinating die available here), cut it out and colored it with orange shaded copic markers. Next, I stamped the "WARM & COZY WISHES" sentiment inside my large pumpkin from the Avery Elle Fall Picnic stamp set using a Gina K Designs Obsidian Amalgam ink pad.
To make my grass, I used the grass die from the Trinity Stamps Slimline Card Series Scenic Border die set to cut out grass from green cardstock, then blended the edges with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink, and splattered it with green paint.
For my sky background, I blended the following distress oxide inks from the bottom up: Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon, and Candied Apple. Then I splattered the blended sky panel with water and red paint, and then glued the grass to the bottom of my blended sky panel and cut off the edges of the grass.
Next, I mounted the sky and grass panel onto a piece of black card stock and cut it so that I left a thin 1/8" border of black around the edges of my card panel. Then I mounted that on to my white card base.
I took my large colored pumpkin and glued it to the center of my card panel. Then I glued my remaining colored images on top using a Lawn Fawn glue tube. To finish up my card, I added white highlights using a white gel pen.
Here is another look at my warm and cozy fall card.
