Hello crafty friends! Fall is in full swing and today I am excited to share with you a clean and simple mini slimline card! Have you tried a mini slimline card yet? I am really digging this size because sometimes, I feel like a full slimline card is overwhelming... So much card front to cover, so much inside to write in. So the mini size is a great in between size to stretch your scene but not feel overwhelmed.
For today's card, I used Pick of the Patch from Lawn Fawn. I stamped and masked off the pumpkin and squirrel images to create this one layer card. With the masks still in place, I ink blended the background with some Distress Inks (abandoned coral, spiced marmalade, mustard seed, crushed olive--you can use Distress Oxides) to create what I like to call an autumn rainbow! I splattered some water and then spritzed it with tarnished brass Distress mica spray. I hope you can see it in the pictures... it is much shinier in person!
Once the background was done, I removed the masks. The real magic is peeling off the masks to reveal the images... ahhh, I love the big reveal! Finally, I colored all the images with Copic markers (listed below) and mounted the card front onto a base with foam squares.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful, crafty day! 💖Jenn
