Hi crafty friends! Did you hear the news? Butterfly Reflections Ink. is now carrying Clearly Besotted! If you are not familiar with this brand, you NEED to check them out! They are a small UK-based stamp company that makes the cutest stamps! So I am so super excited to share this shaker card with you featuring their Scene It Seasons and Seasonal Line Up stamps!
I stamped and colored the winter scene stamp with Copic markers (listed below). Then I masked off and ink blended the sky with salvaged patina Distress Oxide ink. I added some sparkly Stickles and gel pen snow. Next I stamped out the winter line up and colored and cut out the little penguin at the end.
To create the card front, I cut out the window using Lawn Fawn's Outside In Scalloped Square Stackables die and then used a snowflake embossing folder. I heat embossed the sentiment and cut out the sentiment strip with my paper trimmer.
To assemble the shaker, I used a double layer of foam tape to create the shaker well and acetate over the window. For the shaker bits, I used faux snow, beads, and sequins. Before assembling, don't forget to erase stray pencil marks (because I forgot, oops!) and generously apply anti static powder to the inside edges of the shaker well and acetate! Stick it all together, boom-ba-da-bing, you got yourself a shaker card!
Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to stop by the BRI store and take a look at all the new goodies that have come in, like Clearly Besotted! Have a great day and happy crafting!
