Happy Monday! This is Gladys and today I have a berry sweet card to share with you using new products from Lawn Fawn's Spring release. Lawn Fawn always knock it out of the park with their new release! Of course I had to pick up the new mice stamp set called Berry Special. It is super cute and can be combined with previous sets like I did here on my card.
Next I cut an A2 panel from Bristol Smooth cardstock for my background panel. I ink blended it with distress oxide inks using colors that match my colored images to give a cohesive look. I started blending the center of the panel with spun sugar using a light hand. Then I used salvaged patina and peacock feathers to add more depth. I splattered the same colors with some water to add more interest.
To create the little scenes, I used the Peekaboo Backdrop cut from white cardstock 3 times then glued together to give dimension. I arranged all the images onto each frames. Then I used a combination of liquid glue and foam tape to adhere them. I stamped the sentiment in one of the rectangle frame and I was so happy it fit perfectly. To complete the card I added some white highlights using a gel pen and glossy accents on the bee's wings.
Thanks so much for joining me. Check out the shop for the amazing Lawn Fawn Spring release. Happy shopping! Wishing you all a wonderful week!!
