Hi everyone! It's Cassie, back to share another card with you. I saw the adorable set by Avery Elle called Birthday Paw-ty, and I knew I had to make my next card with it. These cute animal images make the sweetest birthday card!
I stamped out most of the images from the set and colored them in with my Copic markers. I went with soft pastel colors and neutrals for the color scheme. Each image was fussy cut out with some detail scissors and given white gel pen accents.I die cut a stitched scalloped circle from Lawn Fawn for the background of this party. For my card base I splattered Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks over an A2 piece of white cardstock. I started putting the pieces together using a liquid glue so that I had time to move things if necessary. The sentiment was heat embossed onto Sage Leaf cardstock by Lawn Fawn and adhered with some foam tape to the card. And that finished it! I hope you liked the card for today. I love these cute little animals and the bright and cheery b-day card. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you again soon with another card!
Hey, hey BRI friends! We're hopping today to celebrate the 4th Birthday of Altenew , one of our favorite stamping companies! You should have arrived here from the Altenew blog , and we're glad you're here to share the excitement! There are prizes and inspiration and it's going to be FUN! With you today, is Norine from The Velvet Lemon creating for Butterfly Reflections Ink and I have some projects to share today, that I made using some recently released Altenew products . First up, are these two cards created with the Mega Succulent stamp set . I stamped the image onto water color paper using the MISTI , then turned on the music and sat and colored. I used Faber Castell watercolor pencils so I could more easily control where the color would sit and then painted with a water brush . I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of vellum, heat embossed with clear embossing powder to ensure that the ink wouldn't smudge...
