Hello Crafty folks. It’s Marie with a card using the new stamp set and Grid Planter Die from Mama Elephant’s newest April 2022 Release. This stamp set, with its adorable melancholy critters and encouraging sentiments allows you to create sweet and empathetic cards to show your support for the people in your life that are maybe going through some tough times. I know I can absolutely relate to this set so much right now.
For my card today, I created a bookcase scene using the new Grid Planter Die and "It's Okay" Stamp Set as well as its creative cuts (coordinating dies). I started my card by cutting the card base using A2 Layers Dies from a sturdy 110lb cardstock as well as pattern paper From my favorite things. I then cut my bookcase from the grid planter die and ink blended it with Milk Chocolate Premium Dye Ink from My Favorite Things.
I did some no line watercoloring with all my adorable images using some Derwent Intense Pencils . I then glued my brick pattern paper to my card base then glued my grid on top of that. Finally, I positioned everything and adhered them down using scoretape. That concludes my super simple card share for this week! I hope you enjoyed!
