misting on background stamps!

Hello!! Samantha here! And today I have a really bright and happy card to share!! I used lots of products from the shop, so let's get right to it, shall we? Here's my card! I love the way the background turned out! To create it, all I did was spray a mist directly onto my background stamp! The Tiny Flags background stamp is from Hero Arts , and is AWESOME!  Then I fussy cut out a few clouds from the Avery Elle Weather It stamp set! LOVE that set, and popped them up for dimesion! :) The sentiment is also from that stamp set, and after I stamped it on the vellum, I distressed the edges with some distress inks !  So that's my card! (Hopefully!) Guaranteed to brighten someone's day! :) What is your favorite product in the shop  right now? I know I have my eye on some of the new dies !!  Leave me a comment with a link to something you made using a product from the shop!! I would love to see!!

No Stamp Cards

Hello!  Lisa here today to share some clean and simple cards made without stamps.  Most of the time when I sit down to make a card I reach for my stamps.  But this time I limited myself to using only patterned papers and embellishments to create my cards, something I found fun and refreshing.  If you remember my last post I talked about buying products in one collection to make putting projects together easy, and I've done just that here too... For my first card I started by layering and trimming some pattered paper. I then layered the sentiment with a matching die cut. Completed with some enamel hearts.   For my next card I used rub-ons for my sentiment. I trimmed patterned paper and adhered it to my card base. I added embellishments and rub-ons  Both are super simple and easy to re-create.  Just the way I like it!  Hope you've enjoyed my post today, and that you were inspired to get out your patterned paper...

A Project LIfe insert...

Hello my crafty friends! This is Kristy and today I'm here to show you a PL insert I made using some super sweet products from the store! Here are the goodies I used: MME cards Die-namics Smart phone dies Technique Tuesday hello die and stamp set Heidi Swapp Puffy Stickers Studio Calico cameras and flag clips   First of I can I just say how CUTE are these dies?! And I LOVE that this one comes with a magnetic sheet to keep them in place! Here's a tip...One of the other DT girl's, Trish , stores her dies with magnet sheets like these and she gave me a great idea! I went downstairs and grabbed a few of the magnetic business cards I keep on the side of the fridge and put those bad boys to work! They worked perfect for the smaller dies! I also had a calendar one from our chiropractor and I was able to cut it in half and use it for 2 larger sets! And here's my PL insert! Again, I LOVE this iPhone die! It worked perfectly for ...

Gold Highlights

Hey all! It is Shawna back with another layout share.  Gold seems to still be a big hit  in the scrapbooking/card making world. I too love it!  For my layout today i went with a black, white, and aqua color scheme with some gold highlights.  Sounds like I am talking about hair! No,  I am talking about pretty mists and stickers and chipboard stars!  I did a layout about my little buddy this time and I am really loving this color combo! A small tip, in case you didn't know (yeah right, i am always late to the party), about stamping.  I wanted a small "hello" in my title but I didnt have a single stamp like that.  I used washi tape to cover up the part of the sentiment that didn't work for my title.  I inked up with Versamark and then removed and it worked great. I hope you liked my layout share today. Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to stop by the shop and peek at the new goodies! So much fun stuff! Supplies from ...

You are my Sunshine Inked Card

Hello Everyone, its Trish here again with another card for you showcasing some Amazing products in the store . Today's card is centered around the Jillibean Soup Mini Placemats Star Light Pack .  This pack of 6 cards are absolutely adorable and I thought they would make great focal points on a card.  I decided to use the Sun placemat and of course, had to ink it up :) I used some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Mustard Seed to ink up the whole sun and then used Spiced Marmalade around the outside of the sun.  Inking was done with my trusty Mini Ink Blending Tool.   Once that was complete, I wanted to make my card base just slightly larger than the placemat so it is cut at 3.25" x 4.25".  The white backdrop was too plain for me, so we went a bit further with inking and used just a very light wash of Salty Ocean Distress Ink .   For my sentiment, I stamped it in VersaMark ink of some vellum and head embossed it with white embossing powder. ...

Chalk Tag Card

Hey guys, it's Shawna!  I am changing it up today and sharing with you a fun card i made. I know i usually share layouts but i do indeed make cards quite often as well. Today I am playing with this fun stencil from Clear Scraps.  I used the Bistro chalk marker from the store to trace the clouds on the black tag.  It is easier to keep in place with a little washi tape. I gave the card some dimension by using foam dots to pop it up from the back ground.  The cloud paper comes from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad . I also used a Lawn Fawn flair and a sticker from the Hello Sunshine collection as well. Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card.  Thanks for stopping by!
