Putting those handmade embellishments to use!

Hey y'all! I'm back sharing a layout using last week's handmade embellishments that I shared with you all. I hope y'all gained some inspiration and are beginning to put your punches to use as well as your scraps. I began this layout with a beautiful background paper by Crate Paper, from the Wonder collection, as well as a couple of other sheets of 12x12 paper from the same collection. I utilized almost all the handmade embellishments that I created and it made this layout super simple and the process took less than 15 minutes! I hope you'll check out last week's post if you  haven't already. If you're more of a card-maker, you can always create handmade embellishments with sentiments on them and slap them on a card when you need one! I hope you guys love this layout. Have a happy Tuesday! Products Used: Shine 6x6 paper pad Wonder Ephemera   Wonder 6x6 paper pad   Wonder puffy stickers   Versa Mark ink   Circle stamps Technique T...

Wish big...

Hello, friends!  Emily here for you on this Monday... We're so close to Christmas, but I have a non-Christmas project for you today. (I hope that's okay!!) We celebrated our niece's first birthday this past weekend, and I created a special shaker tag to adorn her gift instead of the usual card. I didn't want to spend a ton of time on it, as I knew it would probably get tossed in the trash, but I wanted something cute to decorate her gift.   Let's get started, shall we? I started with a panel of watercolor paper, which I die cut using a scalloped rectangle die. I heat embossed the sweet little princess image from Your Next Stamp's Little Darling stamp set in silver embossing powder. (Her birthday party theme was "winter ONE-derland," so how perfect is this little princess from this stamp set?!) I then heat embossed the sentiment from Create a Smile's Make a Wish stamp set in silver before I began my watercoloring. After I had completed ...

Happiest of Holidays

Hi all!  I'm so happy to be here on the BRI blog today!  I broke out the adorable MFT Santa's Elves Stamp Set to make another Christmas card (there are 2 left in the store!  Hurry and get them while you can!).  I colored the tree and elf with Copics, then masked them both and used MFT inks to sponge on the background.  I added gold glitter to the bell on his hat and some glossy accents to the ornament and star. Thanks for stopping by!  Hope y'all have a fabulous weekend!!! Hugs,

Merry & Bright

Hello, Brandi  here, popping in with a fun Christmas card using non-traditional colors. This card would also be great for that special man in your life, with the masculine color scheme. Right? For this card I stamped the various ornaments from  Hero Arts Christmas Crystals  stamp set all over a sheet of  watercolor paper . Next,  I colored in the images with my  Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers . Once the coloring was complete I adhered the panel onto a black and white patterned card base. I added a few finishing touches that included a popped up sentiment from the same stamp set and a few  sequins . What do you think? Easy, Peasy? Thank you for stopping by, Brandi

Best Buds with Audrey

Hey there!   Audrey here!  I have a fun card to share with  you using one of my favorite Paper Smooches stamp sets, Best Buds .  This set is just SO fun to color!  I made this card with the current Paper Smooches challenge in mind.  I started off by diecutting a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle from white card stock, then I stamped the jar image from Best Buds in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I colored the image with my Copic Markers and added some accents with a Copic Multiliner and white gel pen .  I matted the panel on a Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle cut from white cardstock, and popped both layers up with foam tape before adding the panel to an aqua striped card base.  To finish things off, I added a scattering of white pearl sequins. That's all for me today! I hope you like my card!  Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for more inspiration from the design team! :)

December Daily 2015 inspiration

Hey guys!   Jung  here with you today with day 1 and 2 of my December Daily album.  In case you're not familiar with December Daily, it's a mini album/journal celebrating the magic of the holiday season 25 days in December.  This is my 6th December Daily album, and I just love this project!!! I've got quite a few photos, so let's just jump right in!   For the sequin pocket, I used the new [to me]  Fuse tool  to seal the top of the pocket.  I absolutely love this tool!!!  In the past, I used to use my sewing machine or use washi tape to close the pocket.  Those methods are fine, but this tool just makes it seamless.
