our everyday life

Hi hi hi! Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a fun, and bold layout of my two little, crazy Menn! :) To start, I added a little bit of gesso to that awesome background paper! It softens the pattern just enough! Then I added the photo in the middle of the paper, so I could add that cool title! I combined some of the super fun Amy Tangerine Thickers and some of the Confetti Collection Thickers, and I LOVE the handwritten and modern combination! Then I added some embossing paste through a stencil in white. I LOVE the little bit of texture it adds! This is just a photo of everyday life that happens around here! Two little superheroes on bikes around the neighborhood! LOVE this photo!! Thanks so much for spending some of your weekend with me! ~ Samantha

Storybook Bunny and Bear

Hello there! Amy ( The Craft Bunny ) here! I have a sweet watercolor card for you today. I used WPlus9's Fresh Cut Containers and Happy Mail to build the scene here. The Fresh Cut Containers stamp set is surprisingly easy to use! Below are the details and some tips. On watercolor paper, stamp the pot and flowers using various colors of distress inks . Then, soften the image with a water brush. To deepen the shadow, simply go in directly with more of your distress ink. Dawn has shown a perfect example of this technique on WPlus9's YouTube channel. You can watch the video here Stamp the bear, bunny and tree trunk using Memento LUXE Rich Cocoa ink , heat set it, then color with distress inks. I could have done no-line watercoloring for them but I like my animals to have a solid outline Die cut the panel with Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Stamp the sentiment using the rich cocoa ink and die cut with MFT Tag Builder Blueprints 5 . Mount with foam ta...

A Floral Thank You

Hello! Is it finally feeling like spring where you are? There were a few days that I could open my windows, and that has made me happy! Flowers make me happy too, and if I can't have real ones yet, I will accept the stamped variety! Sadly, I only used this gorgeous stamp set, Sketched Blooms , once since I got it, and it was time to ink it up again! I stamped and masked some of the flowers across the bottom of a piece of watercolor paper. I took the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors , and added rich pigment to my flowers, allowed them to dry, and added a light blue wash of color to the background. After it was dry as well, I stamped my sentiment from the Whimsical Greetings stamp set, in black ink. I then trimmed the panel down, and adhered it to a card base with a piece of fun foam. I finished it off with a few black pearls. I hope you are able to get some crafting in! It's good for the soul! Have a great day!

Clean and Simple Avery Elle Rainbow

Hey folks! I really enjoyed making the cards I'm sharing with you today! From the Stamp Set to the Dies it was a good time! With Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped the Rainbow four times from the Avery Elle Be A Unicorn Stamp Set , then I colored two of the Rainbows in with Copic's . I didn't color an of the Clouds in at all. I fussy cut two of the Rainbows with the Clouds and just the Clouds from the other two. I applied  Stick It Adhesive  to the front side of both set of Clouds and added a White Glitter. The Glitter I used is some I've had in my stash for ages, but you could totally use whatever kind you wanted.  Ranger - Tim Holtz Rock Candy Distress Stickles Glitter  would be awesome for this! Using Kool Tak Clear Foam Adhesive , I added each set on to each of the Clouds on the Rainbows, then added more Adhesive to the back of each Rainbow. On a strip of plain Cardstock, I used My Favorite Things Blue Breeze Hybrid Ink and stamped the little ...
