Unicorn Candyland Valentine's Card

Hi everyone! Peggy here for more Valentine's inspiration! Today I am showing you a combination of Lawn Fawn and Heffy Doodle stamp sets, they just match so well! I recently got my very first Heffy Doodle set called Sweet Stuff and I already know this is a brand that could become a new addiction for me. The macaron and cake pop in the set reminded me of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, so I made a candy land out of it for these unicorns to run around in! I started by stamping my images in Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink from the Heffy Doodle Sweet Stuff, and Lawn Fawn All the Clouds , Unicorn Picnic and A Little Sparkle . I colored them with my copic markers and added some highlights using a white jelly roll pen . I cut two identical panels from white cardstock using Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables . The first panel forms the background, which I distressed with Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. The second panel I cut into cloudy borders using th...

Love Ya You're so tweet

My love affair with the Made With Love collection by Doodlebug continues. Swoon. I've used the Made With Love 6x6 paper pad for the patterned papers. Subtle, but really adorable when you look closely. The stamps are from Baked With Love , Fox Costumes Before N Afters , Unicorn Picnic and Big Thanks for Hero Arts all by Lawn Fawn. I colored everything with Copic markers. The greetings are from Big Scripty Words and Say What Pets . I also used Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables and Scalloped Rectangle Stackables . To finish I added Sakura gelly roll white pen and Glossy Accents .  I hope you have a great week! Sneak in some crafty time. :) Nikki

Mood board inspiration with Jane

Hi Friends!  I'm sharing this February mood board inspired card using some cute stamps by MFT .  You can find these items at Butterfly Reflections Ink !   To start, I ink blended a background using the MFT cloud stencil and the following inks (bottom to top): black soot (I used distress ink, but I'm listing the oxide), rocky slope, misty coast (both by pinkfresh).  The top potion of the sky was blended using bubble gum and ballet slipper inks.  After the card was dry, the MFT wonky stitched rectangle die was used to cut the panel.   Images from the sky high friends stamp set were stamped using black ink .  The images were colored using copic markers and cut using the coordinating dies .  The images were adhered using a mix of foam squares and liquid glue.  The sentiment was stamped and white heat embossed for contrast.  The card was then adhered to an A2 white card base and that completes the card! Thanks so much for stoppin...

Sending Llama Love with Davina and the Bri Moodboard

Hello my inky fingered friends! Davina here on the blog, sharing some fun February BRIMoodboard inspiration. The colors this month are cotton Candy, hot pink, jet black and steel gray. I’ve made a few projects already with these bold colors and it has been so exciting. I pulled a pile of scrap papers from my bin (cause I’m crazy and always try to use my remnants first), and found some hot pink, glitter cardstock, and black& white stripes that I wanted to use. Then I flipped through some of my unused stamp sets. These llamas from Mama Elephants  Little Llama Agenda  have been calling my name.  I didn’t know how I was going to use them but I knew I wanted gray snow capped mountains and some pink grass  on a slimline card.  I used the beautifully detailed  Scalloped slimline Pull Tab  die from Heffy Doodle to cut a hot pink base. Then I used some Lawn Fawn Stitched Slimline  dies to cut 3 panels from Bristol Smooth Cardstock. I cut one panel in h...

Stenciled Florals - Mood Board Inspiration with Farhana

Happy Friday y'all! It's the weekend, which means a ton of crafty time! Can't find your creative mojo? Well I've got some inspiration using the February Mood Board ! Bold colors are totally out of my comfort zone, but I'm not one to shy away from a challenge!  I haven't gotten the new distress oxide,  Kitsch Flamingo  yet and I think it's going to work perfectly for this Mood Board! I tried to match the colors to distress oxides I have in my stash since they are my favorite for blending.  I started by ink blending the peony stencil from Pretty Pink Posh  using  distress oxides  in  Worn Lipstick  and  Picked Raspberry  for the flowers and  Shabby Shutters  and  Crushed Olive  for the leaves. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For the background I used the lattice stencil , also from  Pretty Pink Posh  along with  Hickory Smoke . I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment f...

A Beary Happy Valentine!

Hey crafty friends! It’s Julia here with a cute Valentine's Day card featuring the Little Bear Agenda stamp and Snail Mail die set by Mama Elephant! First I stamped my images onto Transotype Perfect Coloring Paper and colored them in using Copic Markers . I die cut the frame from the Snail Mail die set three times out of white cardstock and the mailbox once out of bristol smooth cardstock. I ink blended a background panel using Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry and Peackock Feathers Distress Ink. I also used the Peacock Feathers to ink blend the mailbox. I adhered the ink blended panel to an A2 sized card base and added the layered frame on top using liquid glue . Then I heat embossed my sentiment from the adorable Up With Love stamp set in white. I added all my cute little bears using foam squares . Finally, I added lots of shimmer using Stickles ! If you want to see how this card came together you can click on the video below! I had lots of fun m...
