Butterfly Reflections, Ink

Happy New Year's Eve, fellow Re-inkers!  It's Andrea taking over the blog today.  I always enjoy popping in to share with you, and I hope you're just as happy to have me! I have "a thing" for snowmen, and Hello Bluebird's Frosty Littles are some of the cutest I've seen!  I stamped those cute snowmen with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics.  After cutting them out, I added a few details with a white gel pen . Using Lawn Fawn's Shadow Box Card Dies , I die-cut two panels from some plaid paper in my stash.  Into one of the panels, I die-cut an opening with the Mountain Add-on Dies .  With the same dies, I die-cut the mountains from blue paper and the snowcaps from glitter cardstock.  I also cut the trees from white cardstock using those dies and colored them with Copics. To create a background for my scene, I trimmed three panels of patterned paper using the dimensions of the back and side panels of the box.  Aft...

Happy Monday crafty friends, Ashley D. here!  So excited to be back on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog today.  Christmas may be over, but we’re gearing up for one more celebration tomorrow night - welcome 2020!  I’m sure you’ve all checked out the December BRI Mood Board, and again I’m called to all things shiny and PINK.  Those beautiful blush pink ornaments reminded me of the perfect New Year’s accompaniment - BUBBLES!  And New Year’s most definitely wouldn’t be complete without the bubbly.   So, I created this fun, yet simple card inspired by a bottle of sparkling Rosé.  For the background I used a piece of white pearlescent cardstock brushed with a bit of Distress Oxide Spun Sugar ink, then die cut with the new Lawn Fawn Snowfall Portrait Backdrop die.  I turned it upside down to give the effect of rising bubbles like in a glass of Champagne.  I backed the open holes with pink glitter cardstock from the Lawn Fawn Sparkle...

Hi guys! Today I have the pleasure of being a guest designer here on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog . Oh and hi, it’s Erica , by the way. I had an idea (for ONE card) in mind when I started making it but things kind of took a life of its own and all of a sudden, I was making four. Because why not? Two are done with heat embossing and Distress Oxide resist emboss ink blending, and the other two are just straight up stamped and coloured with Copics. All four cards have the Mail Background stamp from Neat & Tangled on them. The two done with heat embossing are done in Opaque Bright White embossing powder from WOW! Embossing. This is probably my fave white embossing powder, however there are many good ones to choose from HERE . They actually looked really nice with just the heat embossing done. Hello crafty Friends, Davina here on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog, sharing one more project this year using the incredible December BRI Moodboard. I really enjoy using Mood/Color boards for inspiration and love how they keep my projects on track. Every month the amazing team from  Butterfly Reflections Ink  shares a really wonderful Moodboard, and I love to play along as much as possible. For this critter filled project, I used stamps and dies from  Hello Bluebird , and slimline stitched dies from  Trinity Stamps . I tossed around several ideas on how I was going to incorporate these colors without creating a Christmas card, and I’m happy to say “mission accomplished”. I used a really fun stamp set called  Snowball Fight  and the  Coordinating dies  for the stamped images, and I also used their  Hill and Dales  and  Glacier Peaks  for the background. I wanted to make an "any occasion" card using new items from the latest Lawn Fawn release that are available in the Butterfly Reflections, Ink. online store. Just like any Lawn Fawn release, I could not wait to get my hands on the new goodies. I began by stamping images and sentiments from You're Just My Type and Love Poems with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Once the images were cut out, I colored them with Copic markers.  To create the background layout I used Stitched Scalloped Square Frames and Polka Heart Backdrop dies. Hello crafty friends! I can't believe I'm already at the end of my term on the Butterfly Reflections ink Design Team. I have had so much fun sharing my creations with you these past four months, and I hope you all enjoyed them as well. Today I'm sharing a few fun-filled mini-scenes with the help of my Lawn Fawn Die Cut Peek-A-Boo Backdrop . I stamped my images and sentiment on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. After I stamped my images, I cut them out and colored them. The stamp sets I used included: Christmas Dreams Baked with Love Beam Me Up Booyah Oh Snap To create the background, I used a piece of patterned paper from Lawn Fawn paper pack Knit Picky and adhered it under my Peek-a-boo Backdrop. I pieced the patterned paper to red cardstock before adhering them to the card blank (with tape runner .) Morning crafty friends, it's Julianne here back with a snow globe inspired Christmas card just in time for Christmas. This is my first shaped card and I just love how it turned out. I have had the Honey Bee Snow Buddies stamp set for awhile now and really wanted to make a card with those cute snowmen. I started off by using some nested circle dies to cut my card base as well as the shaker element. To make a border around the snow globe I used two of the nested dies together on both white and silver glitter cardstock and adhered them together to get some dimension. Next I started working on the design of the card, I knew I wanted all 3 snowmen in the card as well as one of the bunnies and birds. With a lot of masking I was able to fit each image in along with all the cute accessories that are also included in the set. H i Friends!! It is Dana here today and I am so happy to be back on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog sharing a Christmas project with you all. I needed a few more gift card holders for my gift giving this year, so I pulled out some of my favorite stamps, dies and patterned paper to get started. I started by using the  Stocking Gift Card Holder Honey Cuts  to die cut my stocking. I used the  Sunny Studio Very Merry Paper Pack  along with  White Cardstock . Once everything was die cut I used  Liquid Adhesive  to assemble my stocking. I found the liquid glue to dry really quickly but still give me a little time to get everything lined up correctly. *Your gift card attaches to the inside piece of your stocking, the piece that slides in and out. Next, I used the  Avery Elle Snow Fun Clear Stamps  to stamp my snowmen for the front of my stockings. I colored my images with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them...
