"Love, Home, Family" Scrapbook Layout ///Pink Paislee Auburn Lane Collection

Hi, crafty friends.... Heather here to share a scrapbook layout with you...I had a great time making this and hope you like it too!   The picture is of myself, husband, and daughter and I love the Pink Paislee Auburn Lane collection with it!  I started with a piece of white cardstock and really wanted to play with my new Shimmerz Paints because they match this collection so well.  I used the paints on the background and the cut file title cut file I cut on my Silhouette.     I matted my photo on a couple patterned papers from the 6 x 8 paper pad and popped it up on some adhesive foam.     To add texture, I machine stitched my title and the circle cut file to the background.       To embellish my layout, I used the cute little puffy stickers , rub ons , and stickers from the 6 x 8 sheet of accent stickers .  To back the embellishment clusters, I used a couple of p...

Sending Smiles | Studio Katia

Happy Monday lovelies and welcome to my next post, it's Mona here! Today I am showing you a lovely Peony card featuring Studio Katia products. I am in love with this Japanese Peony Stamp Set, hope you will like too. :) First I stamped my images from the Japanese Peony Stamp Set twice with Versafine Onyx Black Ink then heat embossed with Crystal Clear Crisp Embossing Powder . The next step was the water coloring. I love the Altenew crisp mini inks for stamping, but this time I used them as watercolor. For the flower I used: Maple Yellow, Sunkissed , Orange Cream , Pink Pearl , Pinkalicious and Rubellite . For the leaves I used: Bamboo , Parrot and Lagoon . For the background I used the Pink Pearl shade. When the coloring was done I added some highlight with the Uni-Ball Signo White pen. I styled my card and added the "sending smiles" sentiment. In the end I embellished my card with Mint Dream Crystals Mix and Cl...

You Mandala My Day

Hi Everyone! It's Jenny here, and I'm so excited to be guest designing on the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog again!  Today I have a clean and simple card that uses a couple of fun but impactful techniques. I die cut the My Favorite Things Magical Mandala  Dienamics from 100lb cardstock three times and adhered them together using spray adhesive (I used Krylon).  Have fun popping out all the little pieces! ;)  I covered the die cut stacked mandala in Versamark clear embossing ink on the top side and added a layer of embossing powder.  The embossing powder I used here is a copper green and gold mix, but you can literally use any type of embossing powder for this look and BRI carries lots!  (I'm very excited about getting the  Brutus Monroe Pink Champagne right now!) I added Versamark over the cooled embossing powder and added another layer.  I kept it at two layers only to avoid losing the detail in the mandala. If you are using fine...

Honey Bee Card

Hey everyone! It's Kelli again sharing this card I made with the super cute Bee Happy stamp set by Hello Bluebird  along with the coordinating dies ! I added the clouds by using  Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass  and  My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil . This is my favorite stencil and I reach for it all the time! I added color to the grass with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Ink  and the Pond Builder dies to cut them out! Leave me a comment to let me know what you think!

Altenew Strength Blooms

Good morning, everyone!  Amy Copeland here with an encouragement card featuring some gorgeous stamps by Altenew.  I have had the Strength Blooms stamp set for a couple months now, but hadn't gotten a chance to really play with them until this past weekend.  I started the card by using my MISTI  stamp positioning tool to stamp the four layers of the flowers--this isn't absolutely necessary, but it definitely helps with placement, especially for the top layer.  I used all Lawn Fawn inks for the flowers and leaves:  Fresh Lavender  (bottom--or first--layer); Grape Soda (second layer); Juice Box (third layer); Sugarplum (top--or fourth--layer).  The leaves were done with an acrylic block using the Rock-N-Roll technique--I first inked up the stamp with Cilantro ink, then "rock-n-rolled" the edges of the stamp on my Noble Fir ink pad before finally stamping on my paper.  I used the Coordinating Dies  to cut out the flowers and leaves,...

You're Otterly Amazing!

Happy Wednesday! It's Lindsay here on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog.  Hello Bluebird  has a new Fall/Halloween themed release coming out today, so I'm celebrating with sharing a card using products from their previous release. For this card, I have used their  Otter Friends Stamp  and  Die Set  and  Gallery Frame Die #2 .  I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and ink blended it with  Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink ,  Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink , and  Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink . I then sprayed it with water to make the ink blended piece look more "oceany".  Once it was dry, I used the  Gallery Frame Die #2  to die cut the background. I wanted to add more die cuts to allow for the otters and greenery to sit inside the waves, so I cut the top and bottom pieces from the inside of the frame using  Mama Elephant Ocean Waves Trio Dies . Below is a closer picture ...

"Dancing with the Stars " Mini-Album // Paige Evans collection & cut file

Hi,  crafty friends! Heather here and I have a mini album to share with you....I used a Paige Evans mini album cut file with a collection of products from Pink Paislee Paige Evans.  I created the album for pictures taken at a Dancing With The Stars Live show earlier this year. It was super fun and had too many pictures for just a scrapbook layout! Using the cut file made it easy to create the album and Paige Evans provides a helpful tutorial on her YouTube page.        To embellish the front, I used a combination of Pick Me Up ephemera and alpha stickers from my stash.  The flair is from an etsy shop called Cuts2Luv and she has beautiful flair pieces. To enclose the album, I glued a piece of twine around it and also adhered tiny velcro circles from my stash.      To make the base of the album and tags, I used Pink Paislee Take Me Away 6 x6 paper pad and the Pink Paislee Pick Me up 6 x6 paper pad  ....
