Hay There Sunshine with the Bri Moodboard

Hello crafty friends! Davina here, with fun farm filled slimline card. I used primarily Avery Elle stamps and dies for this project along with the bright spring colors of the March Bri Moodboard. This months Moodboard colors are sweet baby pink, sunshine yellow, spring green, and a clover green. The results we have seen so far have been wonderful. To make this card I started by cutting my slimline layers using the  Mama Elephant slim card basics . I cut the scalloped base from heavy white cardstock, and the stitched frame from Bristol Smooth. I cut a second stitched frame using some scrap green cardstock to make my grassy hills. I inkblended the white panel with  Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide  (DO) from the top, and gently blended in some fabulous  Kitsch Flamingo DO  a few inches from the bottom. It made a gorgeous sky combination. I cut a hill and a grassy layer from the green card making sure it extended to the pink sky area, and inked the edges of the gra...

Use Your Stash--Lawn Fawn Cuteness!

Good morning, friends!  Amy Copeland here guest designing for the blog today.  For 2021, I have challenged myself to use ALL new/unused stamps/dies at least once, so this card was created with some older product that is either new-to-me or that I just haven't used yet.  I also have a serious lack of birthday cards in my stash, so I'm trying to create birthday cards to replenish my stock ASAP. I started out by cutting an almost A2-sized panel out of white heavyweight cardstock (it measures approximately 4 x 5 1/4").  I taped the  Bubble Burst  die from Memory Box onto my cardstock using washi tape and then ran it through my die cut machine.  I then used the same die to run through lot of colors of  Lawn Fawn Card Stock  (I used Cilantro, Sticky Note, Raspberry, Peacock, Pixie Dust glitter cardstock, Mermaid, No 2 Pencil, Noble Fir, and Ballet Slipper)--many of these are in stock at Butterfly Reflections, Ink's shop and if it's out of stock, cl...

After that I ink blended clouds in Salty Ocean Distress Ink onto the background and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn onto the hills.  I also added some splatters of Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles for added interest. For the...

Mousy birthday party moodboard inspiration!

Hi everyone! Peggy here with some moodboard inspiration and yet another party card. Birthday cards are my very favorite cards to make! But for now, let's get this party started! This celebration calls for an abundance of cute critters and what's better than those cute mice. Hopping By To Say...

Hello and HOPPY Monday to you! Sometimes you just love how a card turns out, and this is one of those times. :) My idea sprung from wanting to make a giant carrot for a bunny friend. So, I drew a ginormous carrot and cut it out. I colored everything with my Copics. I used the Don't Worry Be Hoppy stamp set and die set for the bunny hanging on the giant carrot. The little bunny is from Say What Spring Critters . The other bunny and his carrots are from the Some Bunny set by Lawn Fawn.   I used the Garden Border Die for his little carrot farm. More fun happens on the inside of this card... EEEEEK! Look at hims wittle tail! :) And in the sky above, they've hired a pilot to advertise! I used the Plane and Simple stamp set and die set by Lawn Fawn.   I used the MFT Cloud Stencil for the sky.  Have a HOPPY day! Nikki

Happy St. Patrick's Day - Mood Board Inspiration with Jane

Happy Sunday!  Today, I'm sharing this super fun interactive card inspired by the March mood board!  Since St. Patrick's day is around the corner, I thought I'd create a fun interactive card using a mix of new and old Lawn Fawn products.  You'll find the products I used, as well as the new Lawn Fawn release at the Butterfly Reflections Ink store .   To start my card, I first ink blended an A2 piece of Bristol smooth cardstock using distress oxide inks kitsch flamingo and squeezed lemonade .  Then, I used the puffy cloud background to cut the cloudy background.  Next, using the stitched rainbow die, I cut a rainbow using various colored cardstock.  Then I used the swish 'n pop die to create a pull tab mechanism to allow the rainbow to move.  The stitched mountain border die , simple stitched hillside die and stitched hillside borders used to create the front panel of the card.  This panel is large enough for the rainbow to hide beh...
