Two cards with Heffy Doodle Wingman stamp set

Hi, it's Mona here! Today I will show you two cards created with Heffy Doodle stamp sets.  For my cards I used the Wingman Stamps and Dies and the Everyday Sentiment Duos Stamp Set . I think this sentiment stamp set is a must have! I stamped my images with Lawn Fawndamentals Jet Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I picked colorful Cardstocks from Really Rainbow 6X6 Paper Pad and prepared them for card base.  For my first card I made ink blending on the pink patterned Cardstock with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and Mini Ink Blending Tool .  Then I made two Die Cuts with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames Lawn Cuts with the second smallest die and glued to my card. I added my colored images to the card. After this I heat embossed the sentiment to the background with Versamark Watermark Stamp Pad and Altenew Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder on a teal cardstock.  At the end I added some final...

I've Got Somefin' to Say...

Hello and Welcome! We're celebrating Father's Day here in the U.S. today, and so I was excited to create a card that reminded me of my own wonderful Dad! The Butterfly Reflections, Ink store has the newest Heffy Doodle release in stock and if you haven't checked it out yet--what are you waiting for?! SO many cute things in that release! I used the Oceans of Love stamp and die set for this card in addition to some Catherine Pooler reinkers (in Juniper Mist  and Aquatini ) to create the scene. I also used a stitched die from My Favorite Things to create the white window frame. I started out by applying a wash of water on to a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card panel. While the panel was still wet, I dropped in some of the reinkers and let the water spread the ink around, creating the underwater look. After the panel was dry, I created the window frame and then glued it on top of the watercolored panel. I then used some foam tape on to some of the images and placed them...

You Make My Heart Smile

Hello and welcome to Butterfly Reflections Ink. This is Tanya from Studio 5380 and today I have a pair of sweet thank-you cards to share with you: These bright, colorful cards were so much fun to make! I used the fabulous Die-namics Stitched Blooms set from My Favorite Things to create these amazing flowers and leaves. Next, the inky fun began with Distress Inks in lots of bright, happy colors including: Picked Raspberry Wilted Violet Squeezed Lemonade Spiced Marmalade Twisted Citron After inking up my flowers and leaves, I adhered them together with a bit of Ranger Multi Medium Matte glue and gave the centers a little sparkle with a clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. Once my flowers were completed, I created a black and white background using a white card base and a black mat created with the Lawn Fawn Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop die. My sentiments and die cuts are from the My Favorite Things stamp sets, All Smiles and All About You....

Out of This World

Love Card--New Lawn Fawn!

Good morning, everyone! Amy Copeland here again with a love-themed card using some adorable new products from the Summer 2018 release by Lawn Fawn .  I used the stamp set called You Are Sublime to stamp out all of the cute images using Lawn Fawn's Jet Black ink onto 110 lb smooth white card stock.  I actually took my Copic markers and my pre-stamped card stock with me "on the road" to my husband's shop and colored them while he was billing out some work--it was a nice way to spend some time with him while also getting to do something crafty.  :) When I got home, I used the coordinating You Are Sublime  dies to cut out all of my images--I just love how they look with the even white border all around the images.  From there, it was a pretty simple process.  I used my Clear Wink of Stella  glitter brush pen to give all of my images some sparkle and shine.  I cut a panel of Lawn Fawn Mermaid  card stock with a stitched rectangle ...

Altenew Build-A-Flower Rose

Happy Wednesday! Lindsay here on the Butterfly Reflections, Ink blog today with a card using  Altenew  and  Avery Elle  products. A while back I got this  Altenew Build-A-Flower Stamp and Die Set  from  Butterfly Reflections, Ink  when it was sold out everywhere else. I totally fell in love with this flower the second I saw it. I mean, I love all of the flowers in the  Altenew Build-A-Flower  line, but this one really spoke to me, and I was so excited to be able to get it from Vanessa's shop! For this card I started by stamping the layering images out using all Altenew  Mini Ink Cube Sets . I love that Altenew has these ink sets, that way you know you'll get a gorgeous look with any stamp layering set. (Just a note, the Build-A-Flower Rose comes with 6 layers. I've only used 4 for these images as that's how many ink cubes I had to work with. However, you can stamp the same ink color multiple times using a  MISTI  ...

"Magical" 12 x 12 Scrapbook Layout // Doodlebug Designs Fairy Tale Collection & Reverse Confetti

Hi, crafty friends.... Heather here to share a "magical" scrapbook layout featuring Doodlebug Designs "Fairy Tales" collection and Reverse Confetti die set.  The picture is of my daughter and her friends at her 10th birthday unicorn party.  My husband built a lemonade stand last summer and we turned it into a photo booth for her and her friends to have fun with.   So, when I saw this collection, I knew it would be perfect for my photos from the party!       I started with a piece of white cardstock and created a messy mixed media background using Distress Oxide Inks.  This tried and true technique is so simple and easy, it is definitely my go to when I use white cardstock. I used Picked Raspberry, Broken China, and Seedless Preserves.  These colors match Doodlebug patterns so well!. To create some texture, I used a stencil from Echo Park called Geometric Heart and texture paste from Dreamweavers .  This texture pa...
